Welcome to the Wisconsin Organization of Nurse Leaders (WONL)

Thank you for WONL membership participation.  WONL represents an integrated voice of nursing leaders across the state of Wisconsin. WONL membership consists of nursing leaders at all levels in practice, academia, and research.  The organization provides leadership, professional development, advocacy, and research to advance nursing practice and patient care, promoting nursing leadership excellence.

WONL is an affiliate of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and strives to provide you with information on the important issues you are facing in this ever-changing health care environment. 

A program WONL has initiated is the nurse leader Mentor Program, where new nurse leaders or nurses striving to be nurse leaders have the opportunity to develop a professional relationship with an experienced nurse leader. In addition, WONL’s Nursing Leadership Academy is offered twice a year as part of a leadership development program for new nurse leaders and aspiring nurse leaders.

We look forward to your continued membership in WONL.  If you are interested in networking with other nurse leaders face to face, the Board meetings are open for our members to attend and dates are posted in our newsletter and on our website.  In addition, our annual spring conference has great keynote speakers and topics requested by our members.
