I have 17 years of experience as an operating room nurse. I began my cardiac surgery specialty in 2010, followed by training as an RNFA in cardiac surgery in 2011. I worked as a travel nurse for 8 years and have recently transitioned into a unit nurse educator role for the CVOR

With over 15 years of diverse nursing experience across med-surg, oncology, quality improvement, long-term care, LTAC, infectiology, and float pool nursing, I bring a well-rounded clinical background and a deep commitment to excellence in patient care. My adaptability and broad expertise allow me to guide new nurses through a wide range of clinical settings with confidence and clarity. As a foreign-trained nurse who successfully transitioned into the U.S. healthcare system, I understand firsthand the challenges international nurses face. This unique perspective makes me an invaluable mentor for foreign nurses striving to integrate into American clinical practice. I am passionate about helping others succeed and am dedicated to creating a supportive, educational, and empowering environment for every nurse I precept.

I have been a perioperative nurse since 2007. Over the years, I have worked for seven years in neurology, five years in orthopedics, and five years in trauma. Since June 2024, I have also taken on the role of educator. Currently, I am serving my fourth term as chapter president and have recently attended my seventh AORN Expo event.
